The Marin County Sustainability Team works on and promotes energy efficiency and electrification programs for residents. Programs include the Rising Sun Center for Opportunity Green House Call program, which provides no-cost energy efficiency kits to residents; Electrify Marin, which provides rebates for gas to electric appliance upgrades; and Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) programs for rebates and technical assistance for single family and multifamily energy and electrification upgrades.

These programs are not just about conserving energy and lowering greenhouse gas emissions in our communities. Energy efficiency and electrification projects can make homes more comfortable in extreme heat and cold weather conditions, improve indoor air quality for residents, and help residents save on utility bills.
